August 13-17 Update

Hey Parents!

We have made it through the first full week:) I will post here weekly and give you important information and let you know what we are doing the following week in class. We have Open House coming up on August 22nd from 6:30-8pm. Go ahead and mark your calendars. There are multiple clubs that are beginning next week, refer to the school calendar to see these. Also don't forget about the PTA parking spot fundraiser going on right now!

What we are learning:

Phonics: Blends (ch, sh, wh, th)

Grammar: Introducing mentor sentences

Reading: Introducing reading workshop

Writing: Introducing the writing workshop

Math: Place value (hundreds, tens, and ones)

Social Studies:Regions of Georgia
