9/17-9/21 Update

Hey Parents!

We made it through another great week!

We are one week away from Fall Break, don't forget that the kids won't be in school from September 24th-28th. They will come back to school on October 1st. I am sending home another Field Trip form today. This field trip will be an in-house field trip, more information will be on the permission form. Send it back in signed with the envelope filled out so I can send the money to the office. Don't forget that tonight is the KSE Braves game! Fall Festival will be on October 7th.

Also on a side note, if anyone would like to donate some plastic silverware to the class that would be great! We have done some fun experiments lately while learning about matter and used up our silverware:)

What we are learning:

Phonics: Long O digraph syllable pattern (example:Soap)

Grammar: Plural nouns

Reading: How characters respond to an event or problem

Writing: Personal Narratives

Math: Word problems within 20

Content: Matter

Spelling/sight words: as, day, by, find, go, her, if, like, many, not
